Anna Lehmann-Braun’s photographs interiors void of people. Some of the interiors are miniature models she has built, and some are locations she has discovered in places such as Berlin, Stettin, and Switzerland. Whether it is a morbid hotel lobby in Kiev or the Club Mandarin Casino on Hamburg’s Reeperbahn, Lehmann-Brauns has a sure sense for shady, yet glamorous places in twenty-first century urban zones, and she has created an archive full of melancholy memorial images. These spaces have long outlived their glory days—they awaken the viewer’s memories of another time, being settings for many different kinds of individual memories. For the Collector’s Edition, the Berlin photographer has selected two brilliantly colored motifs that harmonize perfectly with each other. We are able to offer them individually or as a package for an affordable set price.
